THE THREEPENNY OPERA

Original Script by Bertolt Brecht / Music by Kurt Weill

Translated by Sean Langenecker and Megan McGlone

Directed by Sean Langenecker / Music Direction by Evan Jensen

You may think you know the story, but in this radical translation/adaptation the classic tale of misogyny and murder is turned on its head. Familiar tunes like “Mac the Knife” and “Pirate Jenny” are set in a new script brimming with queer, feminist socialism that resounds with a revolutionary spirit that Brecht would surely approve. Yawohl!

MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY.
