Little Matchstick Girl

Central Midwest Ballet Academy’s The Little Matchstick Girl is an original ballet based on the classic Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale.  Using Tchaikovsky music the narrator (Dr. J. Adam Shelton), leads us through the tale of Matchstick Girl peddling her wares during the Christmas Festival and encountering a love story.  With traditional caroling before the show and during intermission provided by the Yuletide Carolers, this is a family friendly show that’s sure to put you in the Christmas spirit!
