Walden West is considered to be one of August Derleth’s most loved books. This musical adaptation documents life and death in the twin towns of Sauk City and Prairie Du Sac, Wisconsin. August Derleth is famous for publishing the works of H.P. Lovecraft, Clark Ashton Smith of Conan the Barbarian fame, and Ray Bradbury author of Fahrenheit 451.
