Cinderella is one of the most popular and melodious ballets, and has inspired a great many choreographers since its inception. The premiere of Cinderella was in 1945, at the Bolshoi Theatre. Cinderella is notable for its jubilant music, lush scenery, and for the comic roles of the step-sisters.
