Madison Premiere of the 2025 Oscar Winning Best Documentary. Despite being the most awarded and critically-acclaimed documentary film of 2024, nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature and picked up for distribution in 24 countries, ‘No Other Land’ could not find a U.S. distributor due to its subject matter. It had a limited theatrical release and is now premiering here in Madison.
This film made by a Palestinian-Israeli collective shows the destruction of the occupied West Bank’s Masafer Yatta by Israeli soldiers and the alliance which develops between the Palestinian activist Basel and Israeli journalist Yuval.

“As the name of our community gets more recognition, we need your support to uplift and strengthen our long-term resilience by launching a center for community advancement and support. At the core of this initiative will be youth education programs that support the next generation of storytellers and ambassadors of the region.
A portion of funds raised will also go toward emergency needs in the region that will directly respond to daily violent incidents and harassment. Examples of emergency needs include a bail fund for the many arbitrary arrests carried out daily, medical expenses incurred after attacks, and costs to repair or replace damaged or stolen property.
